Christmas is almost there and this month of december has been so magical so far I didn’t even see it pass. Spending this time in Paris was absolutely incredible, and I’ve been trying to spend as much time as possible everywhere I could enjoy this Christmas spirit, to appreciate all the flashes of beauty the last month of the year has to offer.
But, though places like Place Vendôme, Haussmann or any little street covered of christmas lights and trees would have been enough to get me in the best Christmas mood I’ve ever been in, what I was looking forward to the most was my visit of the Christian Dior’s exhibition in the Musée des Arts décoratifs.
A lot of posts have already been written about it, describing what you can find there and how it’s organised. But I wanted to share my own experience of the visit, and let you see through my eyes one of the reasons why I’m so obsessed with haute couture, and why I never and will never stop repeating how much this art means to me.
Chanel’s Métiers d’Art show in Hamburg by the creative director Karl Lagerfeld was the second haute couture thing that got me obsessed and a bit overexcited this month. The show didn’t disappoint me at all, and some of the pieces presented were actually really cases of love at first sight.
Here’s my 10 favourites selection, which, I hope, will give you an idea of the rest of the runway show.

Hope you guys are having the best December you’ve ever had and live, as I do, surrounded by the christmas songs, movies and decorations that bring the positivity, happiness and love we all need, especially in this end of year.
Have a very merry christmas everyone.
